Because of the need of a professional organization for clubfitters, in 2006 I founded The AGCP, – Association of Golf Clubfitting Professionals. The AGCP golf clubfitting professionals conventions are in Columbus GA. Many of our first few conventions were at the historic Columbus Iron Works Trade and Convention Center. Our first convention was in Branson MO at Hoot Gibson’s Golf shop in 2006. 2013 will be our 8th annual convention.

Constant Learning through constant communication

Because I saw a need for a new kind of forum for clubfitters I started the AGCP as an email list. I did this several years before the first convention as a way to exchange information with other clubfitters and clubmakers. For that reason I also write a blog for the AGCP and publish articles from time to time. World Wide Organization for clubfitters and clubmakers

The AGCP is a world wide peer organization for clubfitters and clubmakers. Our purpose is to educate our members on how to fit custom golf clubs. We also educate the public about the benefits of custom fitting and custom fitted golf clubs. Our goal is to have certified fitters who truly represent the best in the world. We want our members to have a complete understanding of all aspects of clubfitting. We do this through our forums and by a constant dialog we carry on 365 days a year on our private email list. Our hands on educations comes at the AGCP golf clubfitting professionals convention in the late fall every year.
