  1. Fill out the form at the bottom of the page and send it to me.
  2. Next use the video below to instruct you how to shoot video to send to me to analyze.
  3. If you have a local store near you that has a quality launch monitor and you can use it, go there and do a session on it. If you can get them to email the result to you. Most launch monitors have the ability to send a report to your email address. This will be very helpful.
  4. If you can only get your club speeds that is OK.
  5. We will chat about your swing and your game and your goals and find out what basics should be in your bag. *
  • What heads?
  • What Shafts?
  • How long?
  • What weight?
  • Which Design?

Then complete the form and send it to me along with the launch monitor results if you are able to get them.

When you pay for your fitting you will become a member of my website where you will be able to login as a member. Login as a member and you will see a page for uploading your video files. Click on the link there and upload your videos.

Your Options for ordering clubs:

  • Complete the form on this page and submit it to get an evaluation of your swing and what clubs you need to order. I will send back what head designs I recommend and what your set makeup should be, as well as the supplemental shafts you need (in any). Then you can order clubs with confidence you have the Right Sticks in your bag.
  • Or, if you know what head designs you want you can go straight to the order page and fill out the fitting information there and I will email you what supplemental shafts you need to order.
  • Or, if you know what you want and do not want your clubs evaluated by me tell me here what shafts you want then order the set you want and I will send you an invoice for the shafts you want me to use.

When I ask you for distance if you don’t know your clubhead speed please give me your carry distance, not total distance after roll. As in how far to carry the water on this hole and what club you need to carry that distance? If possible also give me the actual loft on that club too. Roll out varies and to calculate your club speed based on distance I need your carry distance only. This is needed to help determine what shaft is best for you. Or if you go to a store with a launch monitor to get your club speed please use that.

The illustration below shows how to measure your wrist to floor measurement and a key for shot shape choices. Use this images to complete the form below please. Your wrist to floor measurement will be critical in determining the proper length for all of your clubs. Proper length is important for consistency, accuracy, and distance. A longer driver isn’t always best for distance no matter what the ads might tell you. Physics only works when it can be applied properly. Your shot shape will tell me about your existing clubs.

If you need to send videos or your swing please watch the YouTube video below and send me the same as they ask for.

– Thanks

Once you get your fitting test analysis if you decide to purchase clubs I will need some videos of your swing. I will need a face on video looking at your face while you swing a Driver and a 6 iron. I will also need a down the line from behind you looking at the fairway or green shot. You can go to my Swing Analysis page and upload your videos using my drop box at Upload Video or if they are small enough you can email them to me at r.nix@mcnixgolf.com

To upload videos open the drop box and drag your video file into the area designated and fill out the required information then click on Submit.

Fill in the information below. Be sure to complete all questions. I need all of this before I will consider your analysis. If you leave something out I will not analyze your swing.

Equipment Evaluation: Use this space to tell me what you are trying to accomplish with new clubs to get an evaluation of your swing. I will provide a general recommendation for you. If you have purchased the Basic Fitting option in my store you can complete the form below for more consultation by email. With a basic clubfitting I will evaluate your fitting needs and send you the specific club or clubs and what shafts you need to purchase to be installed. With the purchase of a Basic Clubfitting you can send me video and we can discuss your situation and swing by email to make the decisions for you. Then you can order your clubs online. Tell me if you have problems with a hook, or slice, hitting too high, too low, hitting fat, topping, etc.
Stand with feet shoulder width and let your arms hang down. Measure from the crease in your wrist to the floor.
Measure from the crease in your wrist to the tip of your longest finger
Tell me why you want new clubs. Do you want to hit better shots? Score better? Replace bad clubs? What you reason is.
Which describes your ego: This ego statement is important because I build clubs for consistency, accuracy, tighter dispersion both side to side and long to short, and not for out hitting other golfers. My goal is to provide you with more quality golf shots so you can play better, hit more fairways, hit more greens and shoot lower scores. I do not build clubs so you can hit a 7 iron farther than anybody else. What you need is a club for every distance between the driver and the shortest wedge. You don’t need 12 wedges with 4 iron lofts on them. A 7 iron with 5 iron loft is still a 5 iron regardless of what number is on the club.
Do you consider your ball flight high or low, or about right? This has a lot to do with head design, loft on your clubs and set make up. Especially your driver. Correct trajectory is important.
What do you like hitting more, Fairways or Hybrids? After your second longest club below your driver everything between it and your longest iron club can be either one, a fairway or driver. Either is basically a replacement for long irons that are no longer viable. 50 years ago a 2 iron had 23 -24 degrees and now some 4 irons are that strong. With a 5 iron around 28 we are looking at clubs to use for yardages between the 28 degree 5 iron and the 15 degree 3 wood or 18 degree 5 wood.
Your Driver/3 wood Clubhead Speed in MPH. Enter swing speeds from 50 mph to 120 mph. If you do not know your swing speed please put in how far your average carry distance is with a Driver or 3 wood. How far can you hit it across water? (Note: it is important that if you are going to order a driver that you send swing speed for a driver not a 3 wood and driver video. I need to see tee height and ball position with the driver to build one right for you.)
5- iron or 6-iron Clubhead Speed in MPH * Enter swing speeds from 40 mph to 90 mph. If you do not know your swing speed put in how far your average carry distance is. How far can you hit it across water?
Downswing Tempo Rating: The transition determines how much the golfer bends the shaft at the very start of the downswing. From that point on in the downswing the golfer may swing the club with little or no acceleration to the ball, with an average amount of acceleration or they many continue to “pour on the coal” all the way to impact. This part of the downswing that occurs after the transition is what determines how long the golfer is able to keep the force of radial acceleration on the club.
