Custom Fitting & Ordering Process
I make it almost like in person fitting using my many decades of experience and the data I’ve collected.
If you want a set of clubs and you know what you want you can simply order them from my shopping cart. But, if you want a fitted set please order a clubfitting from the cart then fill in the fitting form under Contact and send it to me. You will also need to shoot videos of your swing and upload them to me so I can analyze your swing along with your fitting information. It will be helpful if you have a big box store or someplace where you can get swing speeds for your Driver and 5 or 6 iron. If you can’t get the swing speeds please put the carry distance for each club and I can calculate an approximate swing speed from your distances.
From your form and your videos I will analyze your swing and determine what shafts you need in your clubs. From our email exchanges I will find out more details about your game and I will be able to offer suggestions on the best heads and best set make up for you. Set make up is the most difficult and usually if you want a full set we might start with a set of irons and a fairway to see how far you hit your longest iron versus the fairway. Once we establish the gap between your longest iron club and your fairway we can determine what hybrids or additional fairways you might need to cover all distance gaps you may see in a round of golf.
When you go to my Shopping Cart to order clubs you will notice I have the same selections as other sites, or similar. If you know what you want and you see it you can order directly without any help. Your clubs will be built similar to the major name brand OEM clubs are built in their factories. Thank You. If you want custom fitted and custom built you can order a Custom Fitting. When you order a custom fitting you get more than custom fitted clubs built to OEM standards. You get clubs that are built one at a time to very exacting standards one at a time. Each club is meticulously matched to the other clubs in the set so they all swing the same way, or at least feel like the same. They are matched to specifications you and I will determine based on the swing information and swing videos you provide for me to analyze. After 50 years as a golf pro and the last 20 years as a club fitter I have developed a pretty good eye for the golf swing and what I can do to a gold club to make it easier for you to swing it properly based on your ability and athleticism. I can fit and build a set of clubs that will allow you to get all you can get out of your ability.

About Your Shafts
- The shafts you order will be optimized once I get them.
- They will be measured for stiffness at 35″, 25″ and 15″ from the tip and arranged and sorted based on these measurements. If for irons they will each be assigned an iron based on the measurements. Sorted and assigned by total bend properties from softest to stiffest into the longest iron to the shortest iron.
- Then they will be measured for Spine and FLO (flat line oscillation) and installed into the heads in the FLO plane to insure more consistent face contact with the ball.
