WHY FITTING IS MORE IMPORTANT FOR AVERAGE GOLFERS
If you are taking lessons fitted clubs will make it easier for you to make the changes suggested by your Golf Pro. If you and only lift 10 pounds comfortably and control it well and you pick up something that weighs 20 pounds you are not going to control it well at all. Same for your golf clubs. If they are too heavy or too light, too stiff or too flexible, too long or too short you can’t control them as well as having the the right weight, right stiffness, and the right length for your ability.

Set make up is one of the more important aspects of custom fitting. Every golfer need a club for every distance gap between his longest club and his shortest club. It doesn’t matter if those clubs are irons, hybrids or fairways as long as you have a club for each distance gap.
